Arial Home v5.1 Documentation

A v5.1 Arial Home consists of the following design features: 2” thick walls and roof; Both sides of roof panel made with 24ga. steel; Outer side of wall panel made with 24ga. steel, inner side made with Glasteel, or similar material.

Standard Material List needed for a v5.1 Arial Home

  • Steel 48” x 7’6” sheet, 24ga. galvanized steel, pre-painted almond/tan on one side

  • Steel 48” x 8’0” sheet, 24ga. galvanized steel, pre-painted almond/tan on one side

  • Steel 48” x 9’6” sheet, 24ga. galvanized steel, pre-painted white on one side

  • Glasteel (or similar fiberglass/resin material) 4’x8’ sheet, almond/tan in color

  • Steel 9.5” x 10’ strip, 24ga. galvanized steel, pre-painted white on one side

  • Steel 11.75” x 10’ strip, 24ga. galvanized steel, pre-painted white on one side

  • Polyurethane expanding close-celled foam

  • Outward-swinging outside door

  • Windows with flange (generally 2’ x 3’)

  • ¾” long sharp-pointed Philips-head pan-head screws

  • 1” long tap-cons with 5/16” heads

  • ¾” long self-tapping #10 screws with 5/16” heads

  • Latex-based caulk

  • 3” wide EternaBond
